Pan Am by the numbers

The Pan Am & Parapan American Games are almost here, and UTSC is the site of one of the largest facilities for the event. Here are a few facts you probably didn’t know about the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC).

Time in minutes and seconds to walk from the Social Sciences building (MW)—our southernmost academic building—to TPASC, which is at the north end of campus. Student tested!

Height (in feet) of the climbing wall—a feature that UTSC students lobbied for and members of the UTSC community helped design. Now the campus boasts its own climbing club.

Number of spectator seats for the aquatic competition area during the Games. After the Games, seating will be reduced to 3,000.
